Major functions of the Delhi East-2 RTOs

According to the 1988, Motor Vehicles Act, the Delhi East-2 RTOs are entrusted with the following duties.

• Issuing PUC certificates to vehicles after rigorous testing.
• Issuing fitness certificates for vehicles paying on the roads of Delhi.
• Issuing NOCs or No Objection Certificates for vehicles during resale.
• Conducting hypothecation endorsements and termination for vehicles in the registration certificate.
• Issuing other permits to vehicles like interstate permits, goods carriage permits, and more.

How can you register your vehicle under the Delhi East-2 RTO?

For any new vehicles, both private and commercial, would need to be registered with the RTOs in Delhi East-2 for legal use on the city’s roads. In case you have bought a new vehicle in Delhi East-2, here is how you can register your vehicle with the Delhi East-2 RTO.
